Eligibility Criteria & Registration process

To attain a UG or an Integrated degree the applicant should have completed or been pursuing 10+2 and should be a citizen of India. To attain a PG Course the Candidate, need to hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized board in order to be eligible for applying while being a citizen of India.

The CUCET uses modern technology in their application process, the candidate needs to register themselves from the official website of CUCET then before applying online for CUCET candidate is required to have scanned image of his/ her photograph and signature as per prescribed specifications. The aspiring candidates have to first register themselves after which, they have to fill the CUCET application form online only. as in the case of the fee, payment candidate can make, either online payment or offline payment.

CUCET Syllabus and Exam Patterns

A candidate wanting to get admission in B.Tech, B.Sc. need to concentrate on English and also on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology if related to that course. The candidates willing to take admission in another course than the above courses, need to prepare on English, Numerical Aptitude/Data Interpretation, Analytical Skills, Reasoning, General Aptitude, General Knowledge. CUCET examination will be conducted in offline mode i.e. pen and paper-based. The paper will be divided into 2 parts in which, Part A consists of 25 MCQs Part B consist of 75 MCQs. Part A consists of English Language, Mathematical Aptitude, General Awareness and Analytical Skills whereas Part B consists of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Candidates need to attempt any three sections i.e. PCM or PCB depending on their preference. In this, Candidates are awarded one mark for each correct answer. There is a negative mark of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
