Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited CPCL Recruitment welcomes online applications from the candidates who passed in their 10th, 12th, graduation to fill various 108 posts as trade apprentices. Eligible candidates need to register in government apprenticeship portal and apply online after registering. The candidate shall qualified from a recognized University/Institute as a full time , regular course in relevant Trades /Degree with an aggregate of mini 50% for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Trade apprentices Eligibility Criteria
Trade Codes 1 to 12: Candidate must pass in 10th under 10+2 Class examinations or its equivalent from recognized by the National/State Council of Vocational Training (NCVT)/ (SCVT).
Code 13: candidate must pass 12th under 10+2 class examination with Science/Commerce/ recognized diploma in engineering from any polytechnic of three years.
Trade Code 14: : candidate must pass 10th, 12th and must passed 1 year training in Govt. ITI in “Computer Operator and Programming Assistant.
Trade Codes 15 & 16: Candidates must pass B. Sc with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory and Mathematics/ Biology as desirable subject may apply.
Trade Code 17: Candidates must pass B. Sc with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory and Mathematics as desirable subject may apply.
For all the Trade codes: minimum 50% aggregate for General & OBC candidates, 45% for ST/SC/PWD.
Age Limit: Min 18 years and max 24 years as on 01.11.2017.
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
OBC candidates: 3 years
PwD Candidates: As per government rules.
Stipend: Candidates will be paid Rs. 8625/- as consolidated monthly stipend.
Apprenticeship Training Period:
Apprenticeship Training will be one year for the Trade Code 1 to 16. 18 months for Trade Code 17.

Mode of Selection:
Based on marks scored by the candidates in their respective ITI trades / Degree selection will be done. Verification of certificates will be done to short list the candidates and their medically fitness.

The candidate must have an active email ID.
Candidate should have a PAN Card.
He/She should have an Aadhar Card.
Candidate must have a bank account and cheque book with their names printed.
