HPPSC Assistant Professor Notification

Himachal Pradesh state’s Public Service Commission announces notification of State Eligibility Test (SET) for recruitment of the post of Assistant Professors in universities and colleges. HPPSC Assistant Professor notification invites applications to fill the vacancies of Assistant Professors. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online for the above said post. Applicants may apply for the subjects which are in their post graduation only. In case their subject is not available they may apply for UGC which will be held in twice a year.

HPPSC invites applications for the post of Assistant professors in different locations of himachal pradesh. Candidates will be selected through State Eligibility test (SET) conducted by himachal pradesh government. Candidate must go through the official notification in the website and check whether they are eligible are not. If the candidate is eligible then he/she must fill the online recruitment form.

HPPSC Assistant Professor Notification – Apply Online

Person who is interested in HPPSC must visit the site and apply online for state eligibility test by registering. While filling application form candidate must provide correct information with recent photographs and signature in prescribed size. List of 22 subjects mentioned in the official notification. Candidate can refer the advertisement for more details.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification: Candidates with 55 % aggregate in their master’s degree from recognized university in humanities and social sciences, computer science & applications, Electronic science are eligible. Candidates who are appearing or waiting for results can also apply.

Mode of test: Test consists of three papers which has only objective. Examination will be conducted in various places in himachal pradesh.

Fee:

  • General: Rs.700/-
  • OBC: Rs.350/-
  • ST/SC: Rs.175/-
  • PWD: Rs.175/-

Mode of payment:

Candidates must pay examination fee through e-challan or e-payment option. Examination fee can be paid either debit or credit cards any bank.

Note:

After SET result declaration, qualified candidates have to provide photocopies of their matriculation/P.G and detail marks certificates etc. Candidates are advised to apply before the end date to avoid last minute rush.
