SAC invites on-line applications for position of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) and Research Associates (RA). ISRO Recruitment 2017 is inviting the applicants only through online mode. Government of India, Department of Space, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad is going to recruit many young engineers who can fulfill their dreams. The no. of posts are 58 for JRF and 14 for RA.

The candidates can find the application form in the SAC web-site www.sac.gov.in. Application for SAC Junior Research Fellows (JRF) and Research Associates (RA) should be registered online only. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number. It is also mandatory to send hard copy of online application summary which should reach on or before 30/11/2017 through post only.

The eligibility criteria for
Junior Research Fellows (JRF):
The applicants should have Master’s degree with 65% marks or above (Aggregate of all Semesters / Years) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 scale or equivalent from recognized University/Institution.
Research Associates (RA):
Doctorate or equivalent degree in Science/Engineering/Technology.

Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad:
Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad is one of the important Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS). The applications cover, broadcasting, navigation, disaster monitoring, communication, meteorology, environment monitoring, oceanography, and management of natural resources. All the transponders for the GSAT and INSAT series of communication satellites and the optical and microwave sensors for IRS series of earth observation satellites are designed and developed at SAC. involved in imparting training to engineers and scientists of the Asia Pacific regions through the nine months PG diploma programs of the UN-CSSTEAP
Age limit:
Maximum Age 28 years for Junior Research Fellows (JRF)
Maximum Age 35 years for Research Associates (RA) as on 17/11/2017.
Payscale:
For Junior Research Fellows (JRF) : For 1st& 2nd year Rs.25000/- Per month and for the subsequent years Rs.28000/- Per month
For Research Associates (RA) :
Research Associate – I Rs.36000/- Per month
Research Associate – II Rs.38000/- Per month
Research Associate – III 40000/- Per month
