North Central railway announced notification to various posts under apprentice act 1961. North Central Railway recruitment 2017 invites applications to fill various apprentice vacancies. NCR invites applications to the post of NCR apprentice under apprentice act. Applicant has to read the notification carefully to apply for the following posts

- Welder
- Painter
- Electrician
- Lohar/Black Smith
- Carpenter
- Mechanic
NCR Apprentice:
Candidates who are eligible and interested can apply for NCR apprentice. Selected candidates will have to undergo training for a period of one year in diesel shed Jhansi. Candidate will receive stipend as per railway board instructions from time to time. Selection will be one on merit basis and e names of selected candidates will be displayed in official website.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must have passed 10th class or its equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate with valid ITI certificate from Industrial Training Institute.
Age Limit:
People who complete his with 15 years of age and not have completed 24 years of age as on 30.11.2017 are eligible.
Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PHC: 10 years
Fee: DD of Rs.100/- in favor of DFM Jhansi payable at Jhansi must be paid. SC/ST ,PHC candidates are exempted from fee.
Mode of Application: Application must be filled by the applicant in his own handwriting and attach recent photograph must be sent to the address in the notification.
Selection Process:
Selection of candidates will be done under merit basis. Short-listed candidates will be mentioned in the website. Selected candidate will have to undergo medical test before his training period.
