National Project Implementation Unit which is a unit of ministry of HRD, Government of India calls to fill the 1270 Assistant professor vacancies in 54 colleges which are purely on contract basis and for the period of three months. This NPIU recruitment is to improve the quality of technical education to focus in states of North-Eastern region. Candidates can apply online on the official website. Educational Qualifications:
Applicant who has 60% aggregate in BE, B. Tech, ME, M. Tech from a recognized university qualified through GATE exam in their specialization such as Mathematics, physics, Chemistry, Geology, MA English.
Age Limit:
Candidate should have maximum age of 40 years as on closing date of application.
Application Fee: Applicant must pay Rs.500/- as the application processing fee.

Selection Process:
Applicants are invited for the interview between 11th and 15th December 2017 at interview centers where the candidate prefers.
