Specialist Officer – Eligibility
Security Officer (JMGS-1) : Any Graduate with 60%. Experience of 5 Yrs as Commission Officer in Army Navy/Air Force. Or, Experience of 8 Yrs in Paramilitary Forces as Inspector.
Engineers (JMGS-1) : Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Architect) with 60%.
Statistician (JMGS-1) : PG in Economics, or Statistics/Applied Economics/Econometrics with 60%.
IT Officer (JMGS-1) : i) BE/B.Tech in Comp. Science/IT/Electronics & Telecom with 60% or MCA (3 Year) with 60%.
ii) 1 Year Experience in Specialized area.
CA/CFA (JMGS-01) : Qualified CA/CFA
Chartered Accountant/CFA (MMGS-01) : Qualified CA or CFA with 3 Yrs of work Experience as CA.
Economist (MMGS-1) : Post Graduate in Economics with 60%. 2 Yrs. Relevant Experience or Ph.D in Economics.
Age Limit (as on 01-10-2020)
Security Officer (JMGS-1) : 21-40 Yrs.
For other posts : 21-30 Yrs. (Relaxation as follows SC/ST+5 Yrs, OBC+3 Yrs, PWD+10 Yrs)
SERVICE BOND
Security Officer, Engineers, Statistician, CA/CFA, in JMGS-I : 2 Years, 2 Lacs + GST.
Economist, Chartered Accountants/CFA in MMGS-II : 1 Years, 2 Lacs + Applicable GST.
IT Officers in JMGS-I : 3 Years, 2 Lacs+ GST.
The Selection Process for Security Officer
- Interview – ratio of 3 to 5 times of the number of vacancies.
- Out of a total 100 marks, minimum pass marks in the interview is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
- Merit/ Final Select list drawn based on interview marks.
