Uttar Pradesh Postal Department has invited applications for UP Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2017. UP POSTAL CIRCLE RECRUITMENT 2017 for Gramin Dak Sevak and Branch Post Master in various regions of Uttar Pradesh. Interested candidates can apply online before the end date of accepting online applications. Vacancies in UP Postal Circle are 5314 in number. Aspirants who are willing to work with Indian Postal Department under UP Postal Circle in different regions can apply online. Eligible candidates must rush before the closing date of the online application.

Applicants can also apply for Branch Postmaster post. Gramin Dak Sevak, Branch Postmaster selection Process:

UP Postal Circle under Indian Postal Department recruits the candidates on the merit basis from the online applications received. Only the applicants with merit in matriculation will be short listed first. Selection will be done on the circle basis which the candidate prefers. Candidate will receive an SMS if the candidate is short listed. The short listed candidate must provide the needful certificates for verification which the Postal Department requires.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must pass matriculation/10th Standard from a recognized Board with in the first attempt. Applicant should also have basic computer knowledge and a certificate for at least 60 days from a central /State government.

Age Limit: Minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 40 years as on 3.10.2017

Age Relaxation:

  • OBC -03 years
  • ST/SC- 05 years
  • PH -10 years

Note: The Candidate applying for BPM should furnish Rs.25000/- as security and Rs.10000/- for other categories. The security shall be in the name of President of India in the department of Posts.
