AP postal Circle GDS notification – eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
The candidate must have passed 10th standard from recognized state boards. The Candidates who passed their 10th class examination in first attempt will be treated as meritorious candidate. Other than that no weightage will be given for the candidate for possessing any other qualification that is higher than educational qualification required for GDS.
Age: The candidate who applies for the GDS should have minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 40 years for the purpose of engagement to Gramin Dak.
Age relaxation:
Maximum age of relaxation for OBC candidates: 03 years .
Maximum age of relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST: 05 years.
Maximum age of relaxation for candidates belonging physically challenged: 10 years.
Computer knowledge:
The candidate must have computer knowledge and must be trained in basic computer knowledge for at least 60 days from a recognized Computer Training Institute.
Security: The candidate applying for the post of BPM should furnish security amount of Rs. 25,000/- and for GDS post of Rs. 10,000/- must be deposited as security guaranteed bond in the name of National Savings Certificate pledged to the Department of Posts in the name of the President of India.
AP Postal GDS Notification – Selection Procedure
Candidates who applied for AP Postal Circle GDS, BPM posts are selected on the basis of the merit that is by considering the candidate 10th class marks.
The shortlisted candidate will receive an SMS on his selection.
The final selection or appointment will be based on certificate verification.

Fee Payment:
Candidates need to pay the non-refundable amount of Rs.100/- in case of OBC or OC in any post office where online payment can be done. ST, SC, PWD candidates are exempted from fee payment.
