As per Office of the chairman , Railway Recruitment cell, Bhubaneswar – East Cost Railway invited 1216 online applications from interested and qualified candidates for the Apprentice training under the apprentice Act,1961 through their notification no.ECoR/RRC/Act Appr/2019 in the below trades at Railway workshop/units in the East Coast Railway Division. Candidates who are interested in Apprentice are requested to go through the East Cost Railway notification 2019 fully, Before applying to this post. East Cost Railway Recruitment 2019 Eligibility Details
As per this East coast Railway Apprentice notification, the eligibility details for the Apprentice i.e. educational qualification, age limit and duration of the apprentice has given below.
Educational Qualification :
Aspirants are requested to check their education qualification required for various East Cost Railway Apprentice opportunities.
For all trades : Candidates should pass 10th Class with minimum 50% marks from recognized Board and have National trade certificate in relevant trades.
For Trade Welder (Gas & Electric), Sheet Metal Worker, Wire men & Carpenter: 8th Class pass with National trade certificate in relevant trades.

Age limit :
selected person should have completed age of 15 yrs and should NOT have completed 24 years, The upper age is relaxable by 3 Years for OBC candidates, 5 Years for SC/ST and 10 Years for disabled. for more reference kindly check the official notification 2019.
Application fees, Exam fees, Salary & Selection Process
Application Fees
candidates requested to pay the application fee (Processing fee) is to be paid by Online mode.
The fee for Gen/ OBC – Rs.100/-. this fee is non refundable. No need to pay fee by SC/ ST/ PH/ Women.
Note: Online mode means through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.

Stipend details
Southern Railway will be paid Apprentice Stipend during the training as mentioned in the Apprentice Act 1961. that may be above Rs. 10,000/-(approx) per month.
